While I was at the convention last November I purchased this 1/350 scale model kit of the Enterprise NX-01. It has taken me about 6 months, on and off, to get it finished. So I'm very happy now to have my work area free and be able to post these pictures.

What took so long was the painting. I sprayed the base color then had to create hundreds of masks, hand cut from masking film, and placed on the surface before spraying the second color. When peeled off this created the 'aztec' effect which you can see in the pictures.

That and the hundreds of decals is why it took so long.
